A champagne tasting is a delightful way to start one's day. The building is impressive and the grounds lush and manicured. The quality of the wine and champagne is apparent and trying the different vintages side by side was enlightening. Along with the tastings, you can take a tour or order food. There is a tiny little gift shop if... More

On an early Friday afternoon, we stopped by Domaine Carneros for our 1st Bubbly tasting. For $25 and the tour, you get to taste half dozen different samples of Brut Champagne and Pinot Noir. These bottles started at $20 and went up to $95 for the La Reve. Parking is ample and the staff is quite pleasant. Try for the... More

Domaine Carneros is the absolute best place to spend a lazy, sunny afternoon in the Napa-Sonoma region. Try their flight of three bubblys, add a cheese board or two. The staff is excellent, and always seems to give a little "value added", especially when you buy some bottles to take home. I cannot imagine a better view in all of... More

The 90 minute tour for $25 per person is informative and you get to try samples of over a half dozen different brutes and pinot noir. Even if you don't take the tour, a glass of wine or a tasting flight on the outdoor patio gives you a splendid view of the rolling hills/vineyards scenery. More

This is probably one of the more impressive and grand wineries in the area. The house is fantastic and the terrace is lovely (although slightly ruined by the road near by). The wine was good but didn't quite hit the spot. More

This was my second visit to Domaine Carneros. The view is spectatular from the winery. It's a different arrangement than most Napa wineries. They have table service with a selection of snacks which is nice. There are inside and outside seating areas. One of my favorite places to visit in Napa. More

We went to drink Tattingers sparkling wines at Domaine Carneros. From the moment you enter the grounds you know the owners are French. the spectacular chateau sits on a hill. Great photo opportunity. Then you can drink on the terrace or in the drawing room. We sat in the drawing room next to the roaring fireplace. Taryn was our waitress... More

We did not tour. It was a gorgeous day and we wanted to sit on the big patio and see the view with a glass of champagne. The man who seated us took our order. We said we wanted a glass of champagne and he asked if we wanted the top of the line. Sure we said. It was delicious,... More
