i have taken guests visiting form out of the country and friends from California and all have enjoyed the experience. They have summer concerts, a cool museum, awesome grounds for weddings, etc..

Everyone that we've taken here has had a really good time. It's just a beautiful and relaxing escape.The staff seem happy and are always gracious. The wine is decent. If you enjoy sweeter wines, then this will be your heaven.

We live near the ski resort on Sonora Pass. About an hrs drive away. Once we discovered Ironstone and it's concerts we felt like we had discovered a slice of Napa Valley in the foothills. It is a great events venue and offers Bay Area people and locals a nice civilized aspect to this area that was never here before.... More

Love the deli, enjoy sampling the wines, but my favorite is the free museum and gift shop, especially seeing the largest gold crystalline form nugget ever preserved from the mother lode and it came from just 20 miles away!

Ironstone is absolutely beautiful, plus they have great wines, PLUS there is a nice little cafe where you can get a delicious soup or sandwich and have lunch on a shady deck overlooking the beautiful grounds of the vineyard. What more could you want?

The selection of wines was large and varied. Tasting staff very friendly. The facility was a surprise as it is enormous (to accommodate large concerts) and beautifully landscaped. A very nice alternative to in-town tasting.
