Mt Shasta up close is so spectacular. Snow was great & the sun was shining during our 2 day visit. Our family can's wait to visit again.

fun day hikes abound. great water falls all over. Berney falls is one of my favs. the mountain itself is so special. I just feel blessed to have it to look at daily.
The atmosphere and town are quaint and friendly. The mountain is beautiful in the winter months and is a great ski, snowboard area.
It is beautiful...The great outdoors. Its seen from my home most of the year. You can hike it but be careful as the weather can change fast and people can run into trouble.
You can feel the power of this mountain. Also, visiting the headwaters of the Sacramento River is inspiring.
I have been there 4 times in 4 yrs. each time I love the hospitality and the vibrancy of the mountain and the area.
