Mt Shasta up close is so spectacular. Snow was great & the sun was shining during our 2 day visit. Our family can's wait to visit again.

Mt Shasta is the crowning glory of Shasta-Trinity National Forest. Go there, you won't regret it! The view never fails to take my breath away and the town of Shasta city is a delight.

The atmosphere and town are quaint and friendly. The mountain is beautiful in the winter months and is a great ski, snowboard area.

It is beautiful...The great outdoors. Its seen from my home most of the year. You can hike it but be careful as the weather can change fast and people can run into trouble.

You can feel the power of this mountain. Also, visiting the headwaters of the Sacramento River is inspiring.
