Great place to rent a kayak while in Morro Bay, and a great opportunity to get out in the sheltered bay. Go early in the morning when the water is the calmest.

Looking back, we should have decided it was a bad day to kayak after seeing the size of the waves! The water is Morro Bay is extremely chilly regardless of the time of year, so I would strongly recommend wearing more than just a bathing suit. There are a lot of sea lions and birds in the bay, and you...

Kayak Horizons was very reasonably priced for kayak rental, Maybe the cheapest we have ever seen on vacation. Their kayak was very comfortable, more so than the others we have rented. We loved going around the bay seeing things up close.
The owner of Kayak Horizons is very personable, extremely helpful, and the equipment is great for the bay. We saw seals, otters, several varieties of birds, and had a thoroughly enjoyable paddle. Terrific value for the experience!

We rented kayaks for our group which had 5 adults and 2 young children. Staff was helpful and the price was well worth it. I would recommend if in the area.

The bay is shallow and well protected from ocean...
