Lots of parking, great view of Morro Rock, and view of otters cavorting. You can walk all the way from Morro Bay to Cayucos on the broad, sandy beach.

My husband and I camped here for 5 nights in March and loved the experience. (So did our two dogs.) The location is great between an estuary (lots of birds), a marina, and a golf course. We were very impressed with how well the park was run, and the cleanliness of the bathrooms and showers. A great place to camp!

Just a great place to visit for a couple or a family. The fall and spring are the best months with no fog..

The weather in Morro Bay is typically quite cold, and the water is freeeeezing. The beach is a good place to walk but not ideal to set up camp for the day.
