My girlfriend and I met up with a dog-walking group here once and loved it. There is plenty of greenery and the views are breathtaking. The trails provided enough ups and downs to give us and our dog quite a workout. I love that it is so close, too.

This is a great, off the beaten path park. It offers easy trails, spectacular views and nice picnic areas.
A good place to hike in a monterey pine forest with views of the bay. There are several hiking trails. The one we took was an easy loop. It's not steep because you are already on top of the mountain. There is a picnic area.

It was a great way for the whole family to experience nature, get some fresh air, exercise, and great views of the bay.
The trails are easy to moderate and offer some nice views of Monterey Bay and Carmel Valley. There is a small fee to get in so bring a few one dollar bills. It's on the honor system.
This is a great place to visit. Just a short hike up the trail and you get a panoramic view of Monterey Bay. Well worth the effort!
