Sunday in LA downtown is very slow with most restaurants closed. That place was on a very livable Olvera street , worth visiting (street only!). Was there on Sunday. Had Chicken Mole. It was really delicious. The sauce so rich and a nice heat to it. Served with Mexican rice and refried beans. The flour tortillas were warm and fantastic. The waitress was very nice, but SLOW. More

I had the Cochinita Pibil and it was excellent! Wonderful citrus flavor in the sauce. The Spanish rice was the best I have ever had at a Mexican restaurant. My son had the Carne Asada. The sauce was good, but the cut of meat was not the best. The guacamole was smooth and creamy, though I have had better chips.... More
