We had an afternoon to kill before a night flight and were staying in Hollywood (1 stop away on the Metro) so went to Universal Studios. We had a really fun time - was great just hanging out and going on the rides (Transformers ride is awesome). We were there on a Monday afternoon, which meant very few crowds and... More

This attraction is so fun. I got to go to the Studio Tour, Jurassic Park, Krustyland, Shrek 4-d, and Waterworld. Waterworld was the coolest place in Universal Studios Hollywood. More

If you have limited time in LA, not sure it's worth spending it here. The studio tour is good, but the rest of the rides are pretty repetitive (same type, just different theme/characters). We got the Front Line pass, which was a bit more expensive, but worth it if you don't want to spend your day waiting in lines -... More

Get the Front of the Line pass, totally worth it. We even liked the backlot tour. Don't expect your typical amusement park type rides like rollercoasters, do expect to be chased by dinosaurs and mummies! More

If you are expecting rides, this is not really the park for you as there are only 4 rides (not counting the Tram Tour). Though I must say, the new Transformers ride is the best ride I've ever been on, hands down. The shows are very good though, I especially enjoyed the Waterworld stunt show and the special effects show.... More

I went there alone expecting only to see the shows...but ended up going to all the rides too. Great for everyone and they have very entertaining and informative shows. Make sure to go early (or get the Front of Line pass if you go later). More

Universal Studio was the first theme park that we visited on our California trip. We had a very enjoyable day, although we should have paid more attention to the warnings regarding the Haunted House attraction. Our eight year old and six year old were petrified and we had to leave very quickly through an early exit! Great character interactions and... More

Did the VIP tour at Universal and thoroughly enjoyed it - had a knowledgeable tour guide who was very entertaining. Best part was the 3-D King Kong ride - really great fun. A buffet lunch was included as part of the tour which was very good. Everything was well organised and prompt. The only issue was finding the VIP office... More
