The main terminal is a designated landmark built in Art Deco style. This building features ticket counters, restaurants, a gift shop, an observation deck, and displays exhibits about California's first municipal airport. Flew to Las Vegas via Long Beach airport on the advice of this forum. What a great decision. Lovely , friendly staff, even thru security. Loved the outdoor aspect of the airport. Had an hours dlay due to engine problem but it was soon sorted. Would not hesitate to fly from here again

This airport is easy to navigate. Airlines mostly local (CA) with no long lines. Usual TSA hassle for checkin.

Really easy airport to fly into. A lot of it seems to be outside though so I was cold when I stepped onto the tarmac and until I jumped into my sister's car. I've dropped my sister off here before when she went to Vegas and she said it was a fast, pleasant check in and boarding experience.

Beautiful place to rent a car. Staff was cooperative even between rental car companies. It was like a paradise there with beautiful weather and nice people.

Love LGB. Great airport, great people. Amazing history in the old terminal. You can arrange free private group tour or public history tour 2nd Saturday of the month. New Concourse awesome. LGB manages to keep its proud aviation history alive along with the new.

Flying in and out of Long Beach is like traveling back in time. Valet parking, short lines, friendly security, and the new terminal make this airport super accessible. How delightful to see our local restaurants stocking take-away counters in the terminal! Someone was thinking ahead by adding plus everywhere so travelers can charge their many devices.

May not be the "prettiest" but it's small, not crowded, easy to navigate, and that's all I care about. There is a bar, a place to get some snacks/sandwiches and of course souvenirs. You have to walk outside to get to the planes, but in Southern California who cares, it hardly ever rains.

We have always enjoyed traveling in and out of this airport because it is conveniently located with good parking and no traffic to speak of. They have fixed up the terminal now and so if you are early for your flight you have a great selection of local restaurant foods to choose from. Very clean, comfortable, friendly and convenient.

This is the first airport I've been in where, after going through security, you can lounge outside before boarding your flight. The indoor/outdoor nature of the airport was very nice. At the time I went through, there were no crowds and I zipped through security with no problems.

Extremely small airport and extremely crowded. But was able to get in and out fairly quickly. Was not as clean as I would have expected.
