Not easy to get to greens particularly for women. You couldn't access the off fairway areas with the carts because of steeness. More

Typically love Jack Nicklaus courses...this one not so much. Goofy skinny fairways and vortex-like ravines with no vegetation whatsoever...poorly maintained in general actually. Dated clubhouse and golf carts. Gorgeous views of course...it's la Quinta...but really quite a boring, over-priced and over-rated track. More

My first criterea of a great course is: are there any bad holes. No. Could you play it every day and not tire of it yes. Good challenge, excellent shape. Good pace of play More

The 9th and 18th are two of the toughest holes around. Avoid the water and your 19th hole beer/wine is be even more enjoyable. More

Beautifully designed course. In the wintertime fantastic contrast between the 'dead' Bermuda grass and the green fairways. Everybody probably will have to prove their bunker-shots! Will definitely return. More

Teed off at 7:15 am and felt like it was my own private course. Rarely saw anyone else and the course was in immaculate condition. A bit easier to play than the stadium course but still very challenging. More

Want to play a very challenging and well conditioned course? This is it. Bring a few extra balls unless you are a very low handicap golfer. Play the course one tee shorter than you would normally select for a better golf experience. More

Our only disappointment was that the cart GPS's were not working, and would be replaced "soon" - no discount in price, though (mind you, we paid a Twilight rate, booked through Standby Golf). Because of the GPS's provided, the course isn't set up with many yardage markers, so that hurt us a bit. We later heard that PGA West was... More

We had called the day before to ask if we needed to change our tee time to a later in the day so that we could play by ourselves. No we were" told there are only three groups behind you". I also asked about the availability of water and the girl told me that there are "water stations every three... More
