Beautiful course located in the PGA West domain. This is one course where the Humana Tournament is played each year.

Low profile. Incredible bunkering (over 120 sand traps, many of which may dictate that you play away from the primary target), wild green complexes (5 of the greens are over 40 yards in depth and perhaps 12 to 20 yards in width) that are pristine and VERY quick. Enjoyable and challenging.

Had the opportunity to play the Norman Course at PGA West recently. For the Men it is very challenging. I know it is in the Desert but I think most of the Sand is on this Course. I spent a lot of time in it! Much better for the Ladies as they do not have to hit over so many... More

Had my best round here, though it is designed more like a Links course, and a lot of bunkers!! We enjoyed it and very differernt to playing the PGA West course.

I love the place . I love outdoors and the view. Little bit more green will help to boost my golfing spirits...

Just amazing the condition this course was in. The greens and fairways were slower but could have been the early morning round and recent watering. I'd give a slight edge to the Norman course over the Nicklaus - both different styles though.

Fairways & green surronds quite lush. Greens in excellent condition although quite contoured. pace of play for a resort excellent. Quite challenging from the back tees.

Played the Norman Course at PGA West just before Christmas and had a very enjoyable experience. Like the other PGA West courses and Mountain/Dunes at La Quinta, this course also winds through the housing development with properties usually on both sides of the fairway- not ideal but typical for a resort course. On the other hand, the Norman course is... More
