We did not have enough time to take in Sea World and decided this would be a great last minute option to learn and see aquatic life. Loved the exhibits and learning about sea animals and fish. We didn't feel like our wallet was cleaned out upon exiting either.

lots of cool stuff to see here. I get a little tired of hearing the same old 80 billion years ago BS (if you want to push your religion on me it should be ok for me to stand in the middle of your aquarium and preach...) but really liked to look at all the stuff in the aquariums. there...

The displays here are gorgeous and all about the region's sea life. It also offers great educational exhibits.

Birch aquarium is not large, but the exhibits are first class and there are many interactive areas to discover, conservation of the environment is the best interactive area. There is an outdoor area where you can touch sea life, starfish, etc and learn about them. Learning the life of sea horses was very interesting.

Worth it just to see the Leafy Sea Dragons. There is free parking. Is a great stop on a day in La Jolla or at UCSD or even just passing through San Diego. The conservation displays give you a good glimpse into what we've done to our environment, and what we can do to preserve it's beauty. Great trip for...

We visited the Birch Aquarium while we were in the area for Legoland. This is a beautiful aquarium with a neat outside area where the kids can touch and feel the sea creatures. The outside area has a fantastic view of the ocean. Would recommend for all ages.

I came with my daughter's 5th grade class for a field trip. It was so much fun. The kids had such a blast touching sea life, water and solar contraptions and learning about the life under the sea. I also think it is fairly priced. It isn't a large aquarium, but even for it's size it has a lot of...
