Took a group 10 Girl Scouts between 4th-6th grade and 5 adults on the 10 am, 2 hour kayak tour to the La Jola Caves on 5/11/13. We had a perfect day - not too hot or cold and surf was relatively calm. Water was nice and clear to see the ocean floor. Nick and Tyler were our guides and... More

don''t bother read some of the negative reviews - you will see that they have inexperienced, young staff that doesn't care much. helmets didn't fit or have all the clasps and straps - had to try 4-5 to get a good one sent me out on a bike - too small sent me out without a lock (you can even... The Bike and Kayak tour CO. was reasonable and offers deals. The tour itself is great, the tour guide was very informative and educatated in the area. John our tour guide was friendly, helpful and gave us a lot of great information. We really enjoyed Kayaking with the Sea Lions and Seals, they would come within a close procemity to... More

The guides are exceptionally well informed, the water was amazing, the sea life and geological landmarks impeccable and the weather was awesome. This was a perfect kayaking trip. I highly recommend it.

My family took this 2 hour tour to the La Jolla caves in February, 2013. It was sunny, but cool, so the wet suits were a must. The shop has locked storage for your dry clothes, so we found that wearing a bathing suit, wet suit and some flip flops (leave the flip flops at the beach while kayaking if... More

We did the morning kayak tour at the end of November. It was an overcast day with a cool wind. By the end of the tour I was very glad that we had rented the wetsuit. I have never kayaked and was able to master the skill quite quickly. We paddled out and looked at some seaweed and watched the... More

Bikes came with laminated maps you can view while riding. Equipment was good, but seat was a bit hard. We rented for the day, but got tired after a few hours...when we asked if they would pick the bikes up from our hotel, they didn't charge us an extra, which was very nice of them. Ride from La Jolla to... More

I know tour companies are a dime a dozen. I chose this one because they were the easiest to deal with by phone. We did the kayak tour. Our guides were a half hour late, but they were fun, entertaining and knowledgeable. After our tour, I realize we were incorrectly charged. We wanted to rent paddleboards anyway, so we went... More
