This place could be great but our tour guide was drunk and became belligerent after he received a call during the tour. I beleive there was suppose to be gold mining at the end of the tour but everyone who was on the tour took off immediately after leaving the mine. It was bizarre. So many better things to do...

We went through this mine....you enter at one level and (eventually) exit at another level. It is an authentic gold mine and has not been polished up or made flashy for tourists...it's the REAL McCoy, which makes it all the better...more historical and more interesting.
It is walking distance from town, we plan to go back again!
