This is a great place to enjoy the trains of old. The ride is in the country and is a great experience. Tour of train shops is also great and the guides are very knowledgable. Great relaxing experience.

Well worth the effort ! This Railroad was used to make many films years ago, like Little House on the Parire, Petie coat Junction and Back to the future. Great Gift store. Please support this National Park!!

Drove down to Jamestown today just to ride the train. We weren't disappointed. There were a lot of people on the train; the ride was great; and the docents were a very nice touch. If you like the old days, like we do, this is a "don't miss" stop when in the Jamestown/Sonora area!

Took our entire family to experience the train ride. We all had a great time. Railtown was having an ice cream social that day which added to the fun.

The setting seemed authentic. Relief train crew was right out of the 1890s.

Jump on the train and take a ride back to 1897. Great day trip for the family. My son loves to ride the train. Then we go to Jamestown maybe a mile away and have lunch at one of the local restaurants.
