This park appears out of nowhere and you feel like you have escaped the cares of the city. Beautiful ponds filled with birds and ducks and geese galore. You can even spot owls asleep up in the trees. Great place to walk or picnic with friends.

This is one of my favorite places in HB. Around every turn of the paved walkway through the park there is something different to see. It never feels crowded because it's so vast. It has a fun fitness trail too.

Very entertaining to watch the congo drummers and other musicians and just people watching was so great.

Beautiful park with lots of birds and other animals. Lots of benches, which is nice for older people that may need to stop and take a rest. I have only been once but will be going back soon : )

Camped with the boy scouts. Such a beautiful patch of green. Lovely big trees, large lawn areas. For the less adventurous a nice little place to get food is near by.

Acres and Acres of grass, play areas, ducks to feed, kites to fly. There is a frisbee "golf"course Paths for bikes and scooters and someday the little cafe by the lake will re-open (currently months behind schedule)
