The review, "If it was a gay bar, it's not now.", is for the Bull Pen which the reviewer for some reason confused as the Rainbow Cattle Company. I was just there in June visiting friends. I'm a straight woman and have pretty good gaydar and....nope. The only thing gay about this place is the name. Band, pool table, beer, good drinks - I'd go again and recommend it to anyone, straight, gay, or otherwise.

“There's No Place Like Home”

I've been going to Guernville for my vacation spot over 10 years and I always make the Rainbow Cattle Company my first stop. It's like the welcome mat to Guernville. I'm glad that after all this time, it still feels like an old friend! Thanks

“A gay bar, but friendly to all”

If you come to Guerneville, you need to know that the town has a large gay/lesbian community. That doesn't mean that heterosexuals are not welcome! My wife and I have lived in Guerneville for over 7 years now, we are a male female couple, and we have never been made to feel like outsiders at this or any other bar... More
