Loved the wine and the personal descriptions and stories from the winemaker, Chris. Everything about the visit was fun, relaxed, and friendly. I bought 3 bottles of wine and can't wait to open them!

Loxton Winery is a small winery run by Chris Loxton. He was bottling on the day we visitied and was very very informative about what he was doing! The staff is fun and friendly. The wine is awesome!

This what I like about winetasting - finding great new wines and actually getting to have a conversation with the winemaker, Chris Loxton. Tasted some great reds and went home with a case. These wines have won awards, but as Chris points out, "I make them to my taste and hope that others enjoy them as well". We certainly did,... More

Both the owner and the lady helping us were very eager and willing to answer our questions and chat about the wines. The wines were all very tasty. Very relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere. Clearly has a following as there were many people there that were part of their wine club. Definitely not a beautiful winery inside so if that's what... More

We went here on a small tour. The owner met us, gave us a tour and explained things such as why certain vines are used for certain wines, how a vineyard can vary just a few feet away, all those little things the big wineries won't have time to tell you. And, we liked every wine we tasted. Even the... More

Stopped by on a whim. Glad we did. We tasted 5 or so wines and bought 3. Will be back when we visit again. Good people, great wine. We even got to taste some fermenting juice as crush was a week or so before. Tastings are free, but uybsome wine!!!

Very small winery. The owner and wine maker met us and gave us a tour of everything that was going on. We were there during harvest so he was very busy but still took the time to talk with us. Good wines and personal attention

Had an excellent experience here. The smaller wineries tend to have so much more energy. The wine tasted great and you could see the owner feverishly running back and forth processing the grapes harvested for the crush. The chardonnay was also excellent, lots of fruit and a bit of cream on the end without the fake oak

We had so much fun at this winery. Chris Loxton himself did our tasting - he is hilarious and so friendly as well as very informative. Beautiful vines, great little lunch spot. Go if you get the chance!

The sommelier here was just great. The wines we tasted were superb especially the zin. The sommelier gave us recommendations for other small wineries to visit.
