Let me start off by saying that we are Geyser Peak wine club members and have been since 2010. Their member discount makes purchasing wine from them a "no brainer". However, during this visit to Geyser Peak, the private tasting room was closed for renovation and the tasting room guy wouldn't let us taste anything that wasn't on the standard... More

We visited the winery this past week with another couple and were disappointed for two reasons. First, the wine tasting passes we obtained from our inn were not honored and we were still charged full price. Second, when my friend asked if the charges for tasting would be waived if we purchased wine, the answer was no. We would still be... More

Nancy was our great tasting host and was very knowledgeable and fun. She poured wines to our tastes that were not necessarily on the tasting menu. Needless to say we spent a lot of time there and bought lots of wine. Great experience overall

Geyser Peak Winery is sited on a beautiful hillside north of Geyserville, CA. It is adjacent to U. S. 101, and its vineyards stretch before that busy stretch of highway. But don't worry about the bustling scene before you, for you won't notice it once you are inside this beautiful winery, sitting comfortably and enjoy the taste of some of... More

Our first time at Geyser Peak, and the wine tasting was excellent. I'm not a big "red" wine drinker, but the pignot noir was excellent. They also have a late harvest riesling that you could probably use as an ice cream topping. Yummy! Their warehouse is filled to the brim with wine barrels. The young man who helped us was... More

We recently visited this area and went to about 15 wineries. This was one of the top ones in my mind for several reasons. First of all I am rating and reviewing the winery not the wines as others seem to be doing. The winery itself is very attractive and the views off of the terrace are really nice. The... More

So this was my first trip to this Winery. I received a pass from my hotel for a complimentary tasting including the reserve tasting. What a treat it was! The Tasting Room attendant was very knowledgeable about the wine and was a pleasure to deal with. I sampled the "regular" wines downstairs, which included: 2011 Sauvignon Blanc, 2010 Gewurztraminer, 2010... More

This name is for their signature Zin's. Each is from vines that are, we are told, 25,50, and 100 years old. The nice person in the tasting boasted that they make more than 300,000 cases of wine each year between all their wine s. WOW!! Each was "wimpy." There was very little structure to any of the wines. The 100 year... More
