This is a self contained casino hidden in the wine valley of Sonoma County. The road to it is a small winding road and the entrance sign appears quickly and could be missed. If you like to gamble a little and have some nice food, this would be a nice respit before traveling further in the wine country. The parking... More

Horrible everything. Smoking, smokers, smoke. We went for date night and thought this might be something different to do. Words can not describe the utter disappointment. It was like being on some space station on the way to hell. Had to doubly wash our clothes when we got home and shower because we reeked of cigarettes. The slots were not... More

I have been to this Casino a few times. As far as the casino... Sometimes the slots are loose... But, lately they have been pretty tight. The music is usually great! As far as food... The buffet is poor. The selection is limited. The enchiladas tasted like flour tortillas & enchilada sauce only... I couldn't find meat or cheese in... More

I had seen the disgusting carving, into what was once a magnificent hillside in the heart of Alexander Valley for years, but had refused to venture up to River Rock. Recently on a visit around the valley with out of town family, we drove up to this casino. How sad! Tour buses crowding up the drive, unloading and loading hundreds... More

Visiting from Florida, this trip we went to Cache Creek, River Rock and Sho-Ka-Wah casinos. River Rock was crowded and somewhat smoky, but the worst of it was the machines, packed close together so walking the aisles was difficult, and many of the screens on the older machines were dark and cloudy. Why can't floor people see these video monitors... More

spent a few days in beautiful wine country, when it got really rainy we thought this would be fun, it was a nice casino except for the cigarette smoke, we ate at the buffet which was better than most inexpensive buffets, the valet parking was pleasant and efficient and we are happy to report all our valuables were still intact... We stopped here on the recommendation from a local. It was our first time to an Indian Casino, but probably had more fun here than our gambling in Reno. Ample parking in a multi-level structure. Casino is located on a single floor under a "tent" structure. I guess saying "tent" might give people the wrong idea. The layout looks like... More

I visited River Rock Casino for the first time during a business trip to Napa Valley. River Rock Casino is in or right next to Sonoma Valley. So if you get bored doing the wine tasting thing, its a nice little escape. The casino has a hotel too. The casino is at the top of this really really really tall... More
