The Richardson Grove State Park is one of the best places to explore and learn about the magnificent Redwood trees. The nature trail along the grove leads you to the best examples of virgin redwoods. Signs along the path, tells you about the trees in front of you. Well deserved special trip.

There is some problems with the groves. I was sad to see what the government was doing to area. The trees are disappearing it seems.

Richardson State Park is the first park you come to while driving north to see the Redwoods.
