We didn't have high expectations of the spa however we were pleasantly surprised. The toilets were clean, the pools were really nice and there were plenty of lounges available poolside. We thought the $7 entry fee was very reasonable. We are already planning to go back! More

My husband and I decided to run away from home for a night. Rather than going to Palm Springs (as we usually do), we opted for the Desert Hot Springs Hotel and Spa. Last minute reservations were not a problem. Location was easy to get to, although driving through the town seemed to place us in the 60s'. Check in... More

i was introduced to this place by Huell Howser's California's Gold and usually love the day trip ideas i get from that PBS show. but dang Huell! this wasn't one of them. dirty, no filthy room and pool area. food on the chairs and deck cigarette butts and ashes. really? a woman came out of a second room floor dragging... Not exactly what you may have in mind when you think 'spa'. It's a bit of a timewarp, straight out of the 60's & 70's and I don't think much has been done since then. Having said that it does have a certain 'land that time forgot' charm to it. Don't think "Sex In The City", think "family place that... More

As some of the other reviews will tell you this is a no-frills place. There are pools with various temps ranging from very hot (I think they said 109 degrees) to cold. There are comfortable chairs. There is a changing room that was clean but again, very old and no-frills. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise. My husband, daughter and... More

The facilities are in disrepair - can't even match paint when covering a patch or something. More

To borrow the title of another review, it is, indeed, a noisy spa. As a nonsmoker myself, I also get often irritated by the fact that there is no designated smoking area, and the water is very chlorinated and full of hair. While it is not very expensive and will satisfy you if you're not picky, I personally do not... More

Too noisy with lots of kids and people out in the pools late in the evening. Good variety of pools and the price was right. More

I honestly don't mind being in a retro, run down place, if it is clean. But this faciliity is beyond dirty. The rugs are threadbare (okay), but dirty, dirty, dirty, even in the bathing suit shop. There was a woman in the restaurant sweeping with a corn broom in a vain attempt to tidy up. The dust and dirt were... More
