The greenbelts all around Davis are amazing. Walking and biking are so much more enjoyable when you don't have cars and streets in the way! The greenbelts are extensive, well maintained and well marked. You can go for miles on these "back roads" and enjoy the beautiful nature. What else would you expect from a city like Davis? Amazing way to exercise, play, and travel literally anywhere in the city. parks for kids everywhere, little ponds and water resevoirs, things to see, flora and fauna abound, well-lit, well-maintained. Genuis.

A pleasant walk on a cement path along the creek with a verity of plants and both sunny and shady sections. Although underutilized, I have seen families biking, people on horseback, people walking (with or without their dogs), students quietly studying on the lawn, and children feeding the ducks.
