We live very close to Dana Point Harbor and come here often for dinner. There are many good restaurants, coffee houses, and some nice boutiques. It's very hard to find a parking place on Sunday because so many people go for brunch, but you can usually find a place if you persevere. It's a nice, relaxing area,

Wonderful place to walk the boardwalk and sit and watch the boats leaving and entering the harbor. Parking is free and the shops are fun to visit.

Great place for a bike ride, walking, shopping, eating. My favorite restaurant is the Wind & Sea. Also can take fishing or whale watching boats from here. Plus Catalina Express. Tall ships at the very end of the harbor.

Several little shops with unique wares. We checked out all the restaurants and there is a wide verity from causal to formal. Great place to walk around and enjoy the harbor and grab some great food. free parking. I high recommend driving to the north end of Dana point harbor drive and up the hill to see the wonderful views.

Park for free for four hours on the honour system. Go to Dana Point Harbor and drive all the way to the end near the Ocean Institute and park and walk around. Go inside the shop and see the beautiful sailing ship docked near there and then the best part. Walk over to the benches near the jetty by the beach side and sit and watch the waves and pelicans...
