Nice beach area and wharf. The water had lots of kelp while we were here and pretty murky and dirty where the waves crash on shore but very scenic. We stayed nearby within walking distance and it was great to watch the paddlers, stand-up boarders, and surfers! We saw seals in pretty close, and whales in the distance. More

Capitola is such a charming town and nice little beach. Parking can be problematic as it is only 2 hour parking. If you drop your beach gear off and then park further from the village the walk is not too far and longer parking options. More
