Having heard of the St Peters fish of Israel, we searched and found an excellent place to sample this interesting fish. It is located minutes from the entrance to Capernaum. We ate vegetables, salads, bread, olives and enjoyed a local beer. Shortly a barbequed fish arrived.....the famous St Peters. It tasted nice but there is not alot of meat. Nice...

We were fortunate to view this church on a day when mass was being performed which added to the atmosphere. There are many wonderful art depictions of Virgin Mary that are present on the side walls of the church - representations by various countries. The church was worth seeing.
