Venue for numerous concerts each year, as well as the graduating classes of some of the UC colleges. Also hosts noted speakers (e.g., Dalai Lama), operas (e.g., "Aida"), etc., although the acoustics are better suited for rock concerts. Healthy walk to the Berkeley BART station.

The place itself is cool, but the big problem is everyone decided to stand up. My wife and I came here to see Portishead which is chill triphop music.
