Pollenca is an adorable small village with very tight streets to manuver in a car, but you will find yourself lost in time when you go wondering through the streets and find a cafe, restaurant that says stop here and relax.

Lovely walk up the hill to Puig Maria. Considering the location of the cafe, excellent value for coffee, beer etc. Vires, second to none.

Yes, it's quite a trek up to the monastery but it is worth the effort. The walk itself is very pretty with stunning views all the way up and, once at the top, the monastery and views make it all worthwhile. From Pollensa itself, the route is easy to find as it is just off the main road.

I love this old monastery and the easy and refreshing walk up the mountain, in fact you can even drive most of it if walking is not on the cards. There is a stunning view at the top and historical grounds. The monastery in fact offers accomodation in simple rooms, would be wonderful to go up with a group and... More

Fantastic views for miles around and well worth the walk. A little restaurant at the top too! One and a half hours of moderate walking.

Not an easy climb, but as others have said not half as fierce as it first looks. Most of the path is shaded but it would be prudent to choose a cooler day. It's best to park in the large free car park the other side of the Pollenca road as it gets very crammed at the bottom of the... More
