Can you believe the natives used to shoot at these sculptural facade's? I couldn't believe my ears...but, according to our tour guide, this is true. Fortunately, these are protected sites now.
The Treasury remains are magnificent, and worth the lovely trek. It was everything I expected it would be...and then some. There are literally buses and buses full of tourists....

If your legs aren't too tired with all the walking and stairs, I strongly recommend the hike around the back side of the Royal Palace Tomb the delivers you to the cliffs opposite the Treasury for a look-down view. Spectacular!

The fact that the sculpturing was done 2300 years ago is just astounding, The rose colored cliff walls on which the Al-Khazna is carved is just gorgeous.
The horses and donkey rides being pushed on the tourist is annoying but still worth it!
