The cavern itself was very nice, not commercialized at all. The springs and hiking trails were wonderful. Allow ample time to roam in the White River and pick up rocks, many with fossils.

Few folks outside of the Ozark region even realize that Blanchard Springs Caverns exist. I've visited many caves through the years, and Blanchard is one of my favorites. It is operated by the US Forest Service. The facilities are excellent, and the tours first rate. They offer several different tours based on how much time and physical effort you want...

This is a very good day outing for anyone. There are three tours that are available of the caverns. I have been going to Blanchard Springs Caverns most of my life. I went as a child, in college as part of a geology class trip, and now as a parent. The Dripstone trial is the easiest of the tours and...

This cavern is up there with the best the Planet Earth has to offer. If you've been to Kartchner Caverns in AZ --- this one will match its beauty. This is a large cave offering several tours, from wheelchair compatible (bring a hardy soul to push you --- some of the slopes seem like they are at least 30 degrees)...

We had no clue that these huge caverns were so amazing and in our state of residence. It is well worth the visit unless you have super claustrophobia.
When you first walk into the cave it really is a complete shock. The cathedral is the first room and i cannot even find the words to describe it. Absolutely huge, beautiful formations of all kinds. Going for the other tour next time. Sorry this review isn't full of info but you will not be dissaponted.
Great tour! As a person who has done some serious non-tour spelunking, this was as close to a real cave adventure as I have ever seen. I took a group of college students and it was perfect for these first time cavers. Everyone had a great time, but this tour was not for those afraid of heights or physically out...

If you've never been in caverns before it is absolutely a must see. The caves are breathtaking and fascinating. Looking forward to our next trip! Remember...

This has to be one of the most beautiful and unknown caves in the U.S. It is the only cave operated by the U.S Forrest Service and receives little or no promotion. There are two tours inside the cave and the formations are beautiful. Although I have never been to Carlsbad Caverns, there was a person on our tour that...

What a great place! We were in Mountain Home visiting some friends, we wanted "something" to do for the day. It was suggested we go to Blanchard Springs, Wow, is all I can say. We got to Blanchard Springs and were surprised by the beauty of the area. The welcome center was super clean and well marked. There are 2...
