We offer great day...... more » Owner description: Hólasport is a friendly, family-owned business that specializes in adventure tours on 4x4 Quad Bikes and tours on super trucks. We offer great day tours From Kirkjubæjarklaustur to Laki craters, Landmannalaugar. We also take 2-3 hours tours to unique places in the area like the tour to the beutiful Fagrifoss and Fjaðrárgljúfur. Also we take about 3,5 hour tour on our super truck wich is leeding you to the south coast beach. Black sand as far as you can see with the glacier vatnajokull and hvannadalshnúkur in the background if it's not cloudy :) Also we will drive over water, see old shipwreck, great possibility to see seals that are trying to catch salmon fish in the mouth of the river Eldvatn and stop in old emergency shelter for fishermen that we have recently rebuilt. There is a ligthouse standing next to the shelter which you can climb up for great view over the area. On our way home we will drive through the pseudocrates (Landbrotshólar)wich are rootless cones of lava and also have a short stop there. This tour is also available on 4x4 quad bikes. We provide overall,helmets and gloves in the ATV tour. The shorter tours is available from 9 am to 8,30 pm over the summer time, for winter time we tailor made the tour depending the weather. “Great adventure on a rainy day”

Five of us went out on three quad bikes. The guides took us through varying landscapes - grassy, barren, smooth, bumpy, flat, and rocky. We signed up for an hour trip but they allowed us to explore and graciously added an additional 30 minutes to the trip at no cost. The guides added some colorful explanations and made this a... More
