Although the museum was closed during our Bentonville visit, we were fortunate enough to visit the beautiful historic gardens. The head gardener graciously admitted us to the gardens for a visit @ our leisure. At first glance, the garden area appears small, but as you continue to walk, you realize that the gardens are quite large and very beautiful. They... More

This museum was OK. The story and history behind it makes it worth a stop if you have time. The gardens were quite nice and all in bloom. More

The history given to our group by Carol was so enlightening.......we could feel the former owners of the Mansion being right there with us! We were also impressed with the care of the beautiful grounds by the professional gardeners. More

Although the mansion is interesting, the surrounding gardens were even more so. And, I'm not particularly interested in gardens. Well maintained, well-marked flora. More

Carol gave us an excellent tour of the Peel Mansion. She was very knowledgeable about the Peel family and we really enjoyed going through the mansion with her. It has a lovely banquet facility also. The gift shop at the entrance to the grounds is in an old log cabin that was moved from Brightwater, Arkansas. My ancestors lived in... More

I enjoy historical lifestyles and was able to appreciate this visit. The tour guide was informative. It was worth touring at least once. More

We visited the Peel Mansion. Of all the wonderful places we visited in Bentonville the Mansion has less to see and cost the most. The historical value of the home was impressive but the tour was lacking. Boring and not very informative. Seems like if they're going to charge admission the tour could be less of a sales pitch and... More

This home is in an unlikely spot... It is on Walton blvd right in front of Walmart. Don't let the location put you off... This two story home is fully furnished in period furniture, and you feel like you have just entered someone's home. this is certainly not a mansion ..it is a small two story wooden and brick structure, but... The Peel Mansion and gardens are a nice side trip. The house has been restored and is absolutely beautiful. The gardens are a nice walk but right by the highway and WalMart store so it isn't like you can completely escape. This is Arkansas and Bentonville History at its best. More

It is an old historic home, but that's it. would be good placed in historic park where others old homes and building are for tourist. Once seeing is enough for me. More
