The ruins are definitely ruins. Not much stonework left. But there's lots of pottery shards laying on the ground or placed on stones. Great place to visit; pottery shards lying everywhere (don't touch!) and a great visitors center with excellent displays. Attended a wonderful Hopi celebration there with dancing and planting corn Hopi style in 2011. More

I'm sorry to tell you that people haven't been following the rules. So all of the potsherds that were laying open on the grounds some years ago are gone. Still a great place for a hike. It can get very HOT here. More
