We went on 5-22-12 for a half day ride. LOVED IT. Saw the desert up close and it did not dissappoint. It was just the family and the guide and we couldn't have enjoyed more. Hope to go back and do more trails.

My wife and I (seniors in our late 70's) wanted to take the tour to get out of the city and see what the raw desert looked like. The tour in the AM (before it got too hot!) did exactly what we were looking for. Of course driving the Tomcar was a hoot, and having Chris as our knowledgeable backseat...

Who would imagine that this could be so much fun ?
We (especially my wife) were more than reluctant to try this activity, but Zev made it easy; he knows his clients and knows how to make it safe, interesting, exciting and fun. If one has never handled a gun, this is the best possible introduction.
If you combine this...

Our group departed Friday morning, April 20th. We had an amazingly fun time. Our guide Chris, was attentive, knowledgeable, and fun. In addition to mining for copper and turquoise, visiting a Native American outpost, learning about the cactus and surroundings, Chris also sliced a cactus for us to eat. Several of my friends and co workers as well as my...

My son (9) and I did the desert tour and a visit to the shooting range. The desert tour was a lot of fun. It was great that they brought enough vehicles so each family had their own instead of trying to put two groups of 2 into a single car. It made the ride much more comfortable, could see...

it was important to us...

Our family had a fantastic time on April 19, 2012 on the Desert Wolf Tours in Arizona. We definitely recommend this to other travelers and families. Chris was our guide and was very well spoken, polite, and genuinely very interesting; he had a lot of knowledge about the area, history, plants etc. Our boys are 13 & 16 and really...

I read a lot of the dozens of reviews done on Desert Wolf Tours before booking our own tour this April. I've got to tell you this was the most fun I've had ever in Arizona. Driving our Tomcar tour the desert at 55 mph with dust and dirt whirling around us was a challenge but what a 'hoot'. We...

Visited April 15th and had a great time! It was crazy flying thru the desert . My husband said the car was really easy to handle and it was a pretty comfortable ride. Be warned about the dust, you will be covered in it, but it was worth it. We were all given bandanas to wear across our mouth and...

My wife and I booked this trip from the reviews we had read on trip advisor. The experience exceeded our expectations. Our guide Chris went out of his way to make the trip enjoyable and educational. We booked the tomcat and shooting experience. Safety was a priority at the range.
Great experience
