Arizona's Salt River Canyon is the only commercially run class III & IV whitewater raft trip in the Sonoran Desert of the United States. This makes for truly outstanding scenery, wildlife and whitewater in a 2000' deep canyon. Salt River Rafting offers half day, 1 day, 2 day and 3 to 5 day raft trips in Arizona's "other Grand Canyon." Salt River Rafting llc is a short drive from Phoenix, Tucson and Flagstaff. Saguaros, sun, scenery and splashes are guaranteed with every trip!Established in 1994James, Mike and Wiley guided raft trips for Blue Sky Whitewater since the 1990's and bought the company in 2006 becoming Salt River Rafting llc. Between the three of them they have accumulated over 50 years of river experience. As active owners who answer the phones, guide the rafts, serve the meals and drive the buses we are constantly reminded that it is the safety and quality of customer service that separates one outfitter from another. We have a great time following our passion for rivers and the outdoors and look forward to sharing this with you in the beautiful Salt River Canyon of Arizona.

We just came back from taking the full day raft trip. I would recommend SRR to anyone who's interested in having a fun day on the river with a great staff and meeting new people. I definitely would recommend Salt River Rafting. It makes for a great day trip from Phoenix and the views of the canyons are amazing. Our guide, Chicago, kept the experience fun and had a steady stream of corny jokes to keep the group laughing.
