The building's design seems intensify the noise that bus loads of kids that are allowed to make there each morning for 3 months 9am-1pm. Be warned ahead if they forget to warn you also. The kids are basically let on the loose and not held accountable for their deplorable behavior. There are interesting exhibits if you can ever get to... More

Used to go there a couple of years ago and enjoyed the displayes and such. Went recently with my 6 year old granddaughter and was dissappointed. It is actually right on the verge of being cost prohibitive. Not much going on in the way of displays and such. I definately did not think it was worth what I had to... More

It has all the typical items you'll find at a big city science center. Very hands on. Plenty of diversity. The downside is there are school or daycare groups there every day. The adult to child ratio is therefore very low, making the children rather unruly. My well-mannered children can hardly get their hands on anything as a result. If... More

We go about once a year for their special exhibitions. The Body World; Van Gogh were amazing; the regular hands on displays teach the kids in a fun way. You can't go wrong here. More

We visited the Arizona Science Center to see a special exhibit called Van Gogh Alive! The exhibit was extraordinary. We also found the science center filled with things that could keep a child occupied for hours and an adult fascinated as well--everything from hands-on exhibits about the human body to exhibits about Arizona history. It's well worth a visit. More

We've visited many times over the years with our two girls and there's always something new to keep their interest (mine too for that matter). The visiting exhibits keep it fresh and motivate us to keep coming back. We had a membership when the girls were little but now visit about once a year. More

This museum is very hands on and really pointed at younger kids. When I was teaching high school, I tried several times to get them to at least add some exhibits that were at a higher level, but their focus has always been elementary and below. For adults, I would give this a below average rating. However, kids love playing... More

I've been to other science centers and, while I know they're made for kids, this one is below par. A large exhibition in a small venue is dedicated to home building. (Home construction was a huge industry for Phoenix.. key word, "Was." In 100 years, that might be interesting science. I liked seeing how Phoenix used to deliver water to... More

This hands on museum is top notch. Children and adults will find many interesting exhibits. Plan on at least a couple hours to get the full experience. If judged by the smiles on peoples faces, I give the Arizona Science Center very high marks. More
