Anyone who visits the Phoenix area should visit this venue. it is wonderful in the winter months, but April is the time to see everything in bloom. We always take visitors. They are impressed with the variety of plants that grow here. Kids love the butterfly exhibit too. More

We go here often (we are members) and love the garden. It is a wonderful orientation to desert plants. Th especial events are memorable. We had the Big Bugs, Dale Chihouly and the musical event over the holiday is an annual tradition. If you are a member of another Botanical Garden or Arboretum be sure to check for reciprocity. More

Nice botanical gardens, showing six different landscape types of the desert. Nice easy loops to walk. The cactus are fantastic but in May 2012, the other flowers suffered from the drought. Easy parking. More

Went for a corporate dinner. A beautiful garden, though a bit on the small side. The layout and landscaping are superb. I really fell in love with the desert during my visit to this museum. Too bad the real Arizona desert is not so beautiful... Definitely worth the trip, but try the morning or evening or you will bake! More

Go early - it gets VERY hot here. We arrived when it opened and stayed for two hours, and that was plenty. We were seeking shade wherever we could find it. We went on the first tour of the day and although it was interesting, it doesn't take you very far so you do need to venture out on your... More
