THIS is the way to tour! In a van that only holds 12 people, instead of a huge tour bus. Tour guide, Rick Riley, was prompt, knowledgeable, funny, and had wonderful personality. We headed to Canyon via side roads so we could see beautiful scenery, visit Sedona, and all the towns prior to our destination. We had adequate breaks, had... More

My sedona tour was comfortable and exhilarating. The driver/tour guide Leslie was amazing and very knowlegeable and gave me enough time to visit the splendid castle ( Cannot spell the name-too long) on the way to Sedona. There was enough time devoted to various places for taking pictures and for lunch at Sedona. On return to phoenix she took us(... More

My husband & I enjoyed our full say tour of Phoenix & Scottsdale where the guide explained the history and showed us some little-known sights. My husband lived in Phonix as a teenager, but was surprised by the great stuff we saw on the tour: the Arizona Biltmore, Arizona Falls, South Mountain from the peak, lunch at The Farm at... More

rick was a phenomenal tour guide. we enjoyed our time in sedona and the Grand Canyon. thanks to rick we have wonderful and unusual photos under his guided expertise. i was concerned that the 13+ hour day would be too much for my 7 year old twin boys, but thanks to rick we had an excellent experience. i'd highly recommend... We have been trying to get friends who come here annually to visit the Grand Canyon. Finally booked the day tour that takes you there through Sedona. Absolutely tops in all respects--engaging and knowledgeable guide with fascinating knowledge of local history, peoples and geology--he had taught in Navajo schools and had a deep love of the people, lore, and landscape... My sister and me took a tour to Sedona and the Grand Canyon and had a great experience. Our tour guide was "Jo Jo" (Johannes Rothbauer) and he was amazing. He was full of knowledge and could tell us the history of any area we drove through. He had so many anecdotes and facts to tell us it was incredible.... More

Hello Beth, Thank you for taking the time to review your tour, even after a month has passed, we appreciate you remembering your tour with us! Like Jojo, all of our guides have the expertise in the many areas we tour and in keeping the energy up during the full day excursions. The Grand Canyon and Sedona full day tour... More

I usually don't do tours, but we only had one free day while at a conference is Phoenix. We chose Detours and could not have been more pleased. Our guide was Paul and he picked us up at exactly the stated time. We were running a few minutes late, but he didn't seem upset. If he isn't the best tour... More

Rick was our tour guide and was full of great information about the entire area from Phoenix to and from the Grand Canyon. We loved our short stop in Sedona so much that we returned the next day and spent the entire day in the area. The only suggestions that we would make would be to have all tour guests... More

I would definitely recommend this tour to beautiful Sedona. Our guide Richard was both informative and accommodating to his snap happy clients. It was a lovely leisurely day with plenty of options as to activities when we got there. Coming from wet Wales UK we were amused at the downfall of snow - the difference here was it stopped and... Hello Maggie, Glad to hear that you had a great Sedona trip. It's funny to think of Arizona getting snow since many believe this state to be a dry hot desert. It's nice to be able to experience the change in weather, all be it a short change, but a beautiful one when the snow actually sticks. With all the... More

Our guide -Rick Riley- picked us up at our hotel at 6:30 A.M. That was to be the start of a womderful day. We were headed for Sedona Az. We stopped along the way for a lesson in fauna and flora as we walked among the saguaro cacti and other species. We then proceded to "chapel of the holy cross"... More
