When in Argentina, if winemaking has not your interrest, travel south-east to Puerto Madryn. It's a nice town and from there you can take to Punta valdes for a whale safari. If you like seeing animals in their natural habitat this place is great. You get to walk along paths that wind their way right through the penguin colony and can get pretty close to them. It's a long day trip starting out of Puerto Madryn. The tour I did takes in Punta Tombo and on the way back, Gaiman a... More

Punta Tombo was one of my favorite places in Argentina to visit. The penguins are walking around you and you get very close to them and learn about their life. More

We are really glad we took this decision and had several hours great fun seing thousands of penguins. There is an excellent visitors center which... More

Very interesting for nature lovers but quite a trip to get there from Puerto Madryn (170 km). You have to drive for hours and then walk among the penguins for 1,5 hours or so. More

We used Whales Patagonia to get there. Ahead of time I arranged for a private car, with an English speaking driver or driver and English speaking guide. We were... More
