We were looking for something to do in Mesa before a restaurant opened. We stopped at the Museum for Youth, paid our entrance price ($7 per person), and felt like we overpaid for what we received. The museum is set up with two areas. There is an area for little kids with lots of soft toys and crayons, etc. And... More

This museum has lots of interactive exhibits for children of all ages. There is a section for children 0-4 years old called Artsville... More

My husband and I went with two grandchildren, a girl age 9 and a boy age 12, and we had a wonderful time. The price is reasonable ($7 each), parking was easily available, and we all enjoyed almost a full 2 hours in the museum. The children and I enjoyed the pixel peg wall, where we could make creative designs... More

When I think of a museum my first thought is a big, boring, building that contains a lot of old things that you are not allowed to touch or take pictures of and everyone must be quiet as they walk through the exhibits. Since the last reviewer wrote this review, the museum has changed . I remember taking my middle child there when it was wonderful with Indian exhibits and things they could touch. We walked in there today with foulr children (all five) and it was just terrible. Everyone was bored and we left in 15 minutes. The new program is so... More

$5 for all ages over 1. After spending the day before in the May 2006 hot sun at the Phoenix Zoo, this was a nice break for the family. Our 2 & 4 year old rambled all over the slide, ramp, "kitchen", "living room", "backyard", "igloo", "boat & pond", and occasionally sat still to do the various art projects available... More
