We went on a week day to do some shopping and all the handmade stores were closed by mandate of the government who now only allows them to be opened on weekends and holidays - so much for tourist who come during the week. I went there to a performance of Fuerza Bruta and it was great. They offer very good cultural activities. The venue could be improved, but then again it is supposed to be a relax atmosphere More

Next to Recoleta Cemetery, and beside the Pilar Church, this was an old people's home which was recycled and converted into a Cultural Center. The surrounding area, the stalls selling crafts and souvenirs on weekends make it a MUST. More

The Centro Cultural Recoleta is a huge art center that used to be a large hospital almost a 100 years ago.
