Nice collection of modern art but quiet small. We went round within an hour. The building is nice and the café next door worth a visit
You can't miss it! Excellent art in a fancy building! There are different collections you will love. Wednesdays is 50% off opens from 12 to 8/9 pm.
We hit a rainy day in Buenos Aires, so went to MALBA. We were pleasantly surprised. The space is beautiful. The art is fabulous and not so huge to be overwhelming.
Worth an hour or so of your time. Contains di Cavalcantis, Boteros, Riveras and some Argentinian paintings. Most of all, admire the soaring modern architecture of the building. Costs 8 pesos for senior citizens.
I had a very good time in this museum. I discovered a lot of artists I had never heard of and the permanent collection offers a great panorama of the main artistic movements of the 20th century. I also enjoyed pretty much the temporary exhibition of the Brazilian artist Adriana Varejao.
You will find the largest collection of latin american art in the world. After the tour you can have a drink or grab something at the cafe's museum , a very cozy place.
Great concept which needs to be expanded both in its permanent collections and temporary exhibitions. Disappointingly, my most recent visit was uneventful and unmemorable.
This is an ultramodern, privately run museum which presents some fascinating and unique art work. We loved the benches which flow from one floor to the next. Highly recommended!
This place is definitely worth a visit if you're at all interested in art. Head along to check it out for yourself! Entrance fee of about 30 pesos from memory.
