I was surprised and delighted by this out-of-the-way collection of colonial era art and decoration. It is located in a converted palace in Retiro. Much of the collection is from the 1700s and made in Peru or Bolivia, which is where Argentina imported its decoration and art in that era. The collection comprises paintings, furniture, decoration, and religious objects.
