ALWAYS have small change when getting in a taxi. We took about 10 taxis in 4 days there and not a single one had change to give you back!

Whether hiking up or taking the cable car, the trip up Table Mountain is a must-do activity in Cape Town. Beautiful scenery, a good hike, great natural preservation and interpretation. HT to the cable car operator for making our trip down entertaining and fun!

Really enjoyed the climb - but it is a long trek! Very odd arriving at the top, feeling a sense of achievement but then suddenly being confronted by 100's of tourists wandering about - they all took the cable car! Facilities at the top are all good. Certainly recommend the cable car down.

Hike up and cable car down. Fantastic. Start early and take water and sun screen. Really a must-see in CT. Obviously.

You can take a great walk up which is quite challenging - about 2 hours. Or go up and down on the cable car. Views are spectacular. A must for any Cape Town visit

View of Cape town and the sea is breath taking! It gets very cold out here. Carry enough warm clothes to enjoy awesome awesome views!! The model of table mountain kept at top is also awesome! Try the hot chocolate at the cafe! You would never forget it!

Get on the bus and jump off here....have to stop by if the weather is good enough. The restaurant up there can get quite crowded though, so be wary if travelling in a big party
