Clean, spacious, nice views, interesting plants, birds and people. GREAT place to bring kids. Pack a lunch and enjoy the waterside benches and tables. Wish we had one like this close to home!

We camped at this park during spring break. While the campground was full, it didn't feel crowded to us. Make sure you look at google maps satellite view before making a reservation if privacy is important to you. Some of the campsites were grouped together without much privacy at all. There are no hookups. electric, etc, but the campground is...

Just north of the London Bridge this State Park encourages families and enforces rules to keep the place clan and healthy. Boat ramps for boats and PWC. Decent bathroom facilities. A 1.5 miles hiking trail (easy) . good place to swim and enjoy the beach. A few campsites at reasonable price. Not attractive to the party crowd.
Excellent park, although no hookups sites are very very large with lots of privacy. upgrades to commence late spring/13. most sites are lakeview, showers and toilets not very clean but only 20.00 per night
We have walked the trail several times. A really nice marked trail with plenty to see along the way. A must do if u like to walk and see nature. Also the park is host to many festaibles. they are all worth going to see.
If you have children with you, there are parks on each side of the canal that are alcohol free and great places for families. The biggest is the Rotary Park. It is very nice just to walk along the paths along the canal, both sides. Very nice.
This city is very outdoor friendly. Level sidewalks along the lake, bocci ball, volleyball, swimming and a dog park are all available. If you have a remote truck or car they even have a closed track for you to run your machine. Very nice with camp hosts to direct you if you have questions.
Good launch ramps, nice new docks, slippery ramps need brushing. Restrooms could use regular attention. One particular groundskeeper in little golf cart truck is a assett! Rangers generally helpful. Season passes to expensive! 200.00! What are my taxes doing?
Great place for putting boats in or out. Several landing sites, one even for only non-propeller vehicles (jet boats and jet skis). Beach has just been upgraded with new sand trucked in. A lot of parking. Most concerts in town are held at the beach area. Camping and picnic areas are good too. Beach is located right next to the...

The thing that was a bite trying for me was the amount of walking required. The ground is flat & the roadway paved. The ammenities are the usual.
