Great exibit, more time was needed. Leave yourselves at least 3 hours if not you will rush and miss many things. We had to run to see areas that would have been a shame to miss. It took us over 2 hours.

This museum houses several collections under its roof. Do not miss the road to democracy exhibit, nor the rock art. The historic Market building is worth a visit alone

It has the potential to make a great impact given the location and architecture but I found it to be poorly maintained which left me feeling sad. More work on pride in the presentation and upkeep will go a long way in creating an deep impression.

An overrated expensive tourist trap. I suggest the Johannesburg Art gallery for better value.

With the wealth of articles and artifacts available, one expected a more comprehensive display

Very interesting, but the area it is situated in leaves much to be desired.

Museum Africa has a lot to offer: from exhibitions on goldmines, apartheid, Gandhi to Zapiro's cartoons.
Worth a visit!

Great building, great location, not too much to see inside the museum but enjoy the surroundings, lots of history!
