Altough it seems you can do (or at least attempt to do) the 17mile drive through Monument Valley yourself, we're glad we didn't do it ourselves. We took a two and a half hour private tour, for which we payed 75$ per person, which was fair (and quite a bit cheaper than other tour guides). Our guides were Ray and... More

We spent a day in Monument Valley. The fantastic tour we took with this company mitigated the horrible experience we had at Goulding's RV Park. While waiting for our planned guide to show up at the View (they never showed), we met Carla, one of the guides. She is fantastic, personable, knowledgable, and really knows how to give an interesting... More

We signed up for a 2.5 hour tour with this company on Sep 3, 2011. Our guide, Dan, was a polite and decent man, but just not suitable for the role as a guide. He did point out shapes of rocks, pointed out where to get good photos and offered to take some of ours. But we hoped to learn... More

Hi, We took the all day photographers tour of Monument Valley with this company. Our guide was Tom (owner) who leads most of the higher end tours geared specifically toward photographers. The all day tour is acatully built in two parts. You meet before dawn and go out for the morning hours. He then drops you off back at the... More

Took a sunrise/sunset tour in Monument and Mystery Valley with Tom Phillips in Aug 2010. Six in total on the tour, four of them in my party of which only I was taking photographs. Tom gave discounted rated for the non tripod members of my group. Amazing experience and fantastic tour. Photographs and memories will last a lifetime. Standing watching... More

My wife and I had on overnight stay at The View in Monument Valley (loved The View). Since we only had a short time in the park, we wanted to see as much as we could. So based on advice from the Monument Valley TA forum we opted for a back country tour of the park. Again using a reference... More

I booked a 4 hour Photo Tour with Tom Phillips and confirmed three times before the day of the tour. I waited on the morning of my tour for 15 minutes after the start time and then called again. The guy at their office told me that Tom was out of town. He offered no apology or even an explanation... More

We did the 4 hour tour with 4 riders. We arrived at the crack of dawn, paid our fee, and were directed to a corral and mobile home where a grumpy cowboy was saddling horses. He had clearly spent a lot more time as a working ranch hand caring for horses, than as a tour guide attending the needs of... More

When we met our guide, Tom Phillips, at 05:45 in the morning none of us quite knew what a fantastic journey we were about to undertake. From the sunrise visit to the totem rocks, through the male and female rock hogans, the vast vistas and rock formations, Tom provided clear and intriguing information on Monument Valley. His love and respect... More
