This is good place to visit if you are in the Plettenberg Bay area. It was recommended by our hotel and fellow guests and it was well worth the trip.

A good, light, inexpensive lunch. Friendly service and good portions. Good location overlooking a lake and lots of exotic birds.

An absolute must to every trip to The Crags or the Garden Route for that matter. It is inspiring and fascinating! While I enjoy watching birds I wouldn't call myself a bird watcher and this totally changed my mind as the birds can be clearly seen and in their natural habitat all within one aviary. We saw so many different... More

Give yourself plenty of time to meander through this paradise! You will be amazed at the number of birds who will come to greet you if you just take the time. This is a marvelous place and I am so grateful to have had the privilege of seeing it twice. In fact on my second visit we spent almost 4... More

So many birds, all flying around in a vast aviary, with paths that wind their way up and down and a little pink and grey 'Gala' cockatiel that perches on your shoulder and comes for a stroll with you. I would visit every week if I lived in SA !

I have never considered myself a bird watcher, but after lots of tips we went here. There were so many beautiful birds in many colours, and people we met were friendly. It was ok price wise, and we believe the birds like it here as well. I really recommend it!! If you do monkeyland, don´t miss our on this.

The entire place is a huge cage (net enclosure). You gain entry and walk on suspended walkways either right on the ground, admiring the small birds to high above the tree tops to admire birds in flight, as well as macaws. A multitude of biospheres created in one. A lovely experience and the kids loved it. The birds are so... More

WOW! What a great place! Amazing bird life of every sort in a beautiful, friendly place. It's so great to have interaction with the birds without them being stuck in cages. The restaurant is good and the shop stocks all sorts of great trinkets and souvenir.
