We stopped by on a rainy morning in Plett with our 3 year old and baby. James did a great job to inform and engage us. His knowledge was impressive and he seemed to have a real love for snakes. Worth a stop. More

Very knowledgeable guide. Great with kids. He even had me holding some of the snakes! there is also a trampoline and jungle gym for the kids. Unfortunately it started to rain towards the end of our tour so we didn't hang around afterwards to make use of them. More

A very knowledgeable guide made our tour very enjoyable. We learned a lot and getting close to snakes and monitors was great. Our guide also dealt very gently with those in the group who were initially wary. Worthwhile! More

Great collection of well-kept, healthy snakes. There is even the opportunity to hold a few (non-venomous) snakes. More

We arrived rather apprehensive (about snakes) but by the end of the hour tour were so glad that we had stopped. The welcome and tour was amazing. The highlight was the opportunity to handle the python which was a great experience...the rest was interesting. Running this business is obviously a vocation for the owners, which was good to see. More

The tour of the facility is very educational, entertaining and enjoyable for the whole family. Wide variety of snakes (local and from outside the Cape province). Guide was very knowledgeable and shares his knowledge in fun way. Holding the snakes was great and touching the monitor lizard was very cool. Highly recommended. More

I spent a fascinating few hours learning about snakes and even got my wife to hold a snake! My 12-year-old niece totally loved the experience and was very excited to hold some of the snakes and to get so close to big dangerous snakes like cobras, puff-adders and the black mamba. Our guide Wilmore was superb - very knowledgable, enthusiastic... More
