I am not a fan of artsy places or ghost tours and it was a struggle to take a day and drive the twisting road to Jerome. I was so wrong. The drive itself was fun and once we completed our visit we drove to the top of the mountain to get fantastic views of the valley including snow covered... More

Jerome, Arizona, is a historic "ghost town" that offers many things to see and do. In fact, with a little research, you could tour this town on your own. There are many galleries, shops and restaurants that warrant a second look. The history is very interesting and there is a lot of human interest to enjoy too.

Spent half a day here and enjoyed it. We like history and enjoy learning about the history of new places. There is a museum made out of the home of one of the large mine owners and there is a lot of information here of the mining practices and the lives of those who worked in the mines here.

This will always be my TOP place to take visiitors to AZ. About an hour and a half from my home, I head to the old mining town of Jerome (usually in my 64 1/2 Mustang convertible) to enthrall and delight visitors. The ride there is half the fun! This old mining town is now a menage for artists and... More

I'm a month or so late in writing this review, because I'm a student in New York City. It was the end of my summer vacation. My friends and I traveled around Arizona for two weeks. On the way from Phoenix to Flagstaff we stopped at this little ghost town called Jerome. We had fun looking at the artsy shops... More

We did the Haunted Tour with Reckless Rick in August 2012 - it was awful. It was basically just Rick talking to us for 2-1/2 hours while we walked around Jerome - he's a decent storyteller, but there was little in the way of humor or anyhting especially engaging to break up the monologue. And to top it off, we... More

Our tour guide was Shotgun Sadie, an self described old hippy turned tour guide. She was full of great information about Jerome and its history and ghosts. She does a nice job. Not a great actresses, but you can tell she is a believer. I have never believed in ghosts. Just seems like a bunch of made stories to scare... More

I went on this tour last week with four friends. The tour had possibilities. They knew their history...of the town and the supposed ghosts, and it was interesting. But the delivery just plain sucked. Shotgun Sally was our guide. Our night got off to a rocky start when she locked herself out of the building and needed to call for... More
